About Katy Nims

Although I was not born organized, I discovered the power of organizing in college and have continued to research and apply a variety of organization approaches throughout my career as a single mother and busy executive.

Creative problem solving and detailed preparation combined to serve me well through a successful career in accounting, human resources and technology management.   Even working with tight budgets during my years as director of computing services in higher education, I found solutions to bring my organizations into the digital age.  I often used of a variety of free and low-cost resources along with a knack for bridging communications between technicians and “the rest of us” to help people make the most of the technical resources available.

By looking at the whole system I help people identify and apply tools and techniques to become more productive and less stressed through better organization of their space, papers, computers and time.

Why do I do this?  I love to help you get to that “a ha” moment when you suddenly understand how things work (software, procedure, tips and tricks) and how you can use them to improve your life and work.

My ultimate goal is to provide you with a system you can use to not only improve your productivity but sustain it over time to save you time, energy and money.
